The (Plastic-Free) Hair Products that have Revitalized My Hair!

Over the past year or so, I've been making a conscious effort to be more environmentally friendly - using less plastic, composting and recycling more. I've come across a number of products that have been so helpful as I try to reduce my waste. I love beeswax wraps and the bowl covers, and we just started composting which I'm hoping will help my garden next summer.

But my newest finds are these shampoo and conditioner bars from Unwrapped Life! I started using them a couple of months ago and it has changed my hair! I absolutely LOVE them both!!

At first, I was a little hesitant how my hair would do with just the bars rather than the liquid. I have long hair and I typically use a large amount of shampoo and conditioner. So, I wasn't sure that I'd be able to get enough product in my hair for it to work. The shampoo lathers quickly and is easy to get through my hair. I find that I do have to lather the conditioner more and rub it through my hair longer to get good results. But all in all, quite quick and simple to get great results!

Before, I found that my hair was quite flat and oily. But after just one wash, I noticed a huge difference! My hair is fuller, lighter and much less oily. It just feels healthier altogether! I'm so excited that I can cut down on our plastic packaging AND help my hair at the same time! Plus, these bars are long-lasting and will last for 50 to 75 washes.
