At the beginning of November, the four of us travelled to Palm Springs for our first family vacation all together! While traveling with two little ones is far from relaxing, we definitely enjoyed the warm weather, the gorgeous scenery and the sights that this beautiful city had to offer!

Here are our 3 favourite places to go for the little ones:

1. Living Desert Zoo: This was at the top of my list to see while we were in Palm Springs and it didn’t disappoint! I mean, does it get any better than feeding a giraffe?!? It was cool to see all the animals with the picturesque views in the background. And we stopped for some delicious soft serve ice cream which was the cherry on top!

2. DeMuth Park: I don‘t think it’s possible to travel with a toddler and NOT go to a playground. We found this great park for Emilia and Jacob to play on. It had a climbing wall, slides of every size and beautiful scenery in the background!

3. Ice Cream & Shoppe: I scream, you scream, we ALL scream for ice cream!! Emilia was thrilled to get ice cream and this is the cutest little ice cream shop with such unique flavours - everything from Ube to Salted Caramel to their local Date ice cream.

We also checked out the Windmill Farm for family photos with Flytographer. Check out my post here all about the fabulous Flytographer! The Windmill Farm was such a gorgeous sight to see and a great spot for photos.

Another really interesting place is Moorten’s Botanical Gardens. The plants are SO unique and cool to look at! But it’s probably best to keep the little ones in the stroller as you walk around. You don’t want those little fingers touching the prickly plants!!

I’m so curious to know, where are your favourite places to travel with the kids?

Love,
