Christmas Morning

Only FIVE more days until Christmas and we’re getting pretty excited over here! Our little Elf on the Shelf has been busy bringing us treats and getting into mischief! Our Christmas shopping is basically done and waiting to be wrapped. There’s a couple more Christmas parties and then, it’s the BIG day!

I love creating these memories with the kids and Christmas morning is no exception! Since Emilia was born, our little family has created some new traditions. We wake up Christmas morning and I turn on the Christmas tree lights before bringing Emilia, and now Jacob, downstairs to see all the presents that Santa has left under the tree! I pop the Land of Nod cinnamon buns into the oven, brew some coffee and settle in to watch the excitement of opening presents!

Our immediate families comes over a little later in the morning for brunch and I’m hoping the afternoon will be spent snuggled up watching a Christmas movie! I’m SO looking forward to it all and will soak up every minute of this magical day with my little ones!
